The Store Spotlight campaign is designed to advertise sub-pages of an Amazon brand store. Amazon wants to help the stores that have been somewhat in the background to gain more visibility. In the ad space, three shop sub-pages can be highlighted, which can then also be reached directly by clicking. The placements of the Spotlight campaign also very much resemble the previous Sponsored Brands in their design.

Setting up Store Spotlight Campaign

A prerequisite for setting up a Spotlight campaign is that you have already created a Brand Store for your brand that includes at least four pages. When setting up the campaign, everything basically works like a conventional Sponsored Brands ad that you could previously also target to a store landing page. New is the design of the ad that you can choose, and related to that, the various sub-pages of your shop. For this, three shop sub-pages can be assigned with an image as well as a designation with 40 characters. These three shop sub-pages then appear below the brand name and logo in the ad.

Targeting

The targeting of the ad can be done like other Sponsored Brands for keywords and products with corresponding negative targeting.

The ad is particularly interesting for all those who already have a corresponding store. Especially if you want to advertise a relatively large portfolio of different products, a shop sub-page can help to lead customers directly to the right products.
